Real-world commentary
Altaros developed a patented way to CNC lathe-turn soft lead slugs, which yields extremely consistent dimensions and very high ballistic coefficients, as high as about 0.25 in .25 and 0.21 in .22. The technology holds a one-mile airgun world record, and the slugs are sized to suit Lothar Walther and CZ barrels as well as FX superior liners.
