AAtaman is a Russian premium PCP manufacturer with a documented U.S. import history and a reputation for regulated, high-quality hunting and target airguns.
In our words
Ataman can be an excellent premium import. In the current U.S. market the practical question is service and parts access, so listings should be honest about availability, and support guidance should route buyers to the original importer or retailer before any factory contact.
Support
- First contact
- Air Venturi / Pyramyd AIR support first; identify visible brand, model, and original retailer.
- Summary
- Start with the original U.S. dealer/importer. If Pyramyd/Air Venturi supplied the gun, check current parts availability. Factory contact exists in Moscow, but geopolitical and shipping realities may affect support.
- US availability
- Documented U.S. import history through Air Venturi/Pyramyd AIR, but current U.S. visibility appears more parts/accessories-heavy and product-specific.
- Owner prep
- Exact model and caliber; Serial number if present; Proof of purchase; Photos/video of issue; Current pressure/fill status if PCP; Magazine/fill probe/accessory details

Real-world commentary
Ataman has premium PCP credibility, but U.S. buyer confidence hinges on parts, warranty, and service path. The gun may be excellent, yet support can define resale value.
