CZ / Slavia / Perun is a Czech and Slovak heritage break-barrel air rifle line, originally produced by Česká Zbrojovka Uherský Brod from the mid-1950s and continued in Slovakia under the Perun name after 2003; production has now ceased under both names.

In our words

Slavia is the brand of childhood for two or three generations of Czech and Slovak shooters, and the 631 Lux is the model most buyers picture when they hear the name. The rifles are accurate, simple, and serviceable, with a barrel-locking lever that helps them shoot above their price class. The big collector distinction is country of origin: pre-2003 Czech production carries more weight than Slovak/Perun continuation, even though the rifles are mechanically very close. Listings should always state country of origin marking, serial number, and seal condition because that is what tells a buyer whether they are looking at a Czech original, a Slovak continuation, or a 634-era polymer-stock late example.

Real-world commentary

Slavia is a generational name in Central Europe — these rifles introduced two or three generations of Czech and Slovak shooters to airgun shooting and remain reliable, accurate plinkers when serviced. The 631 Lux is the model most buyers want, with the 634 a step up in power. Build quality is honest and serviceable rather than premium. The shift from Czech to Slovak production in 2003 and the rebranding to Perun matter for collectors but not much for shooters; mechanically the rifles are very close.

Support

First contact
European specialty retailer or vintage parts source; no U.S. factory path.
Summary
Effectively unsupported in the U.S. Parts circulate through European specialty dealers (notably Czech and Slovak retailers) and through Perun continuation channels for the 730/731/734 era, but no formal U.S. service network exists.
Warranty
Slavia is out of production under that name; assume no transferable manufacturer warranty for Slavia-marked rifles. Perun continuation rifles may have limited Slovak market warranty that does not extend to U.S. buyers.
US availability
No active U.S. manufacturer or importer presence under either the Slavia or Perun name. Examples reach U.S. buyers through used-market channels, estate sales, and occasional vintage importer stock. Slavia rifles are no longer produced under that name.
