Aztec Optics built its Emerald line specifically around airgun quirks that firearm scope makers overlook, moving the turret saddle lower and smaller so it clears a rifle's magazine, and focusing down to 10 yards for the ranges airgunners actually shoot. A UK review noted the scope was designed in the US by airgunners and impressed testers enough to recommend it for field target work despite being a first effort from a new brand.
