BSA Optics traces its name to the historic Birmingham Small Arms Company and now operates as part of Gamo Outdoor. Its own product pages state plainly that scopes for air rifles must handle two-way recoil, and the Outlook and Essential lines are built and marketed specifically for magnum spring and gas ram rifles rather than adapted from firearm scopes after the fact.
