Blue Trail Range Corporation
Blue Trail Range is a public shooting range operating since 1945 in Wallingford's scenic Quinnipiac Valley, family-owned by the Lyman family for generations and rated NSSF Four-Star for range excellence. The facility features a 50-foot indoor range with 10 shooting positions plus 27 newly-renovated outdoor shooting booths (each with adjustable shelves and clear plastic dividers), a private shooting range, and a shotgun field with foot traps. The Junior Rifle Club is open to children ages 12+ with NRA Certified Instructors, and Blue Trail hosts the Connecticut High School League and the USA Shooting State Junior Olympic qualifier (Jan 3-5) for all four disciplines. Open to the public daily with no membership fee required (day passes and annual passes available). State and national championships hosted; IDPA, bullseye league, and women's pistol club programs run year-round.
