Zia Rifle & Pistol Club
Zia Rifle and Pistol Club is a member-owned non-profit shooting facility founded in 1959, operating from a leased range in Montessa Park south of Albuquerque. The club features East and West outdoor range areas plus a 6-point indoor range, supporting Junior Olympic air rifle programs, 4-H rifle/shotgun/pistol training, BSA Scout merit-badge instruction, ARA Rimfire Benchrest Silhouette, and pistol-caliber lever gun silhouette. The Junior Division loans equipment to local 4-H programs and supports JR ROTC athletes through the USA Shooting Junior Olympic pipeline. NRA-affiliated. Members-only access with periodic orientation classes for new applications. Active women's-only pistol and personal protection programs twice yearly. One of the longest-running continuously-operating shooting clubs in the New Mexico high desert.
