What should I look for in an airgun scope?
Three things matter more for airguns than for firearms: close parallax adjustment (airgun distances run 10-50 yards, so a scope fixed at 100 yards will look blurry up close), springer rating if you shoot a spring-piston gun, and holdover-friendly reticles since pellet trajectories are loopy. Magnification is less important than glass quality and a parallax that focuses down to 10 yards. Compare current options in the Optics Directory, which lists parallax, reticle, focal plane, and recoil rating for every entry.
